Isn't sharing my wishes the same as asking for gifts?
No. Your wishes are your own list first, things you'd love, saved for yourself. Sharing them with your circle is quiet and optional, like leaving a note on the fridge. Nobody is asked for anything.
Won't it ruin the surprise if I know what I'll get?
You'll never know which wish was claimed, or by whom. You only see that someone's thinking about you. On the day, it's still a surprise.
Is this just another registry?
Registries are for one event, they're public, and they end. MyCelestials is private, for every moment of the year, and it remembers.
Will my lists be public?
Never by default. Each list can be Private, Close friends, Friends, or Anyone with the link, and you can change it anytime.
Who can see my address?
Only the person sending you a gift from that list, and only the address you chose for it. No one else gets to see it.
Do my friends need to download an app?
No. They open your link in their phone's browser, pick a wish and send a surprise. They don't even need to be your friend on MyCelestials.
What if two people pick the same gift?
They can't. The first person to reserve it holds it for 4 hours, and everyone else sees "Already taken care of".
Do you handle payment or delivery?
No. The giver buys on the store the item came from. We never ask for or store payment details. Payment, stock and delivery are handled by the store.
Does MyCelestials tell me when prices drop?
Not yet, but it's coming soon. We'll keep an eye on what you've saved and nudge you when the price drops, so you can buy for yourself at the right time.
Isn't this making gifting mechanical?
We remove the guessing and the logistics, not the thought. You still choose, you still write the note, and they're still surprised.
How do you make money? Do I pay more?
It's free. When you buy through MyCelestials, the store may pay us a small commission. You pay the same price.
Which stores work?
Any store with a product link: Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Blinkit, Meesho, Ajio, brand websites, Instagram shops and more. You can paste a link or share straight from the store's app.
Can I keep wishes for my child or my parents?
Yes. Many families keep a list on behalf of someone who isn't on their phone much, like a grandparent or a little one.
Can I change my mind after reserving a wish?
Yes. Release it, and it quietly opens up again. The person with the wishes never knows it was held.
